The 2022 turtle nesting season has been a roller coaster ride. We had 152 nest laid by 34 different mother turtles. For the 2022 season we only had green turtles nesting on our beach. We will keep our fingers crossed and eyes peeled for hawksbill turtles for the 2023 nesting season. They are usually seen in the coral reefs of Perhentian Island but their last nest with us was in the 2020 nesting season. We look forward to the start of the 2023 nesting season!
